At Ra Optics, we are confident in the quality of our products and want you to love what you receive. That is why we offer a 30-day performance guarantee on all eyewear and a 14-day performance guarantee on Lumios products, from the date your order is delivered — giving you the opportunity to try your product and return or exchange it if it is not the right fit for you.
Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving your returned item(s), following inspection by our team.

United States
Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your eyewear purchase within 30 days of delivery, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase value.
To initiate a return, please visit returns.
Please note that the cost of the return label will be covered by a return handling fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
Your refund will be issued within 7 days from the date we receive your item(s).
Please note: original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Exchanges
A maximum of two (2) exchanges may be processed within the 30-day period. For your first exchange, we will provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you and cover outbound shipping on the replacement — making your first exchange completely free for domestic US orders.
If you choose a product of lesser value, the difference will be refunded to you. If you choose a product of greater value, you will be charged for the difference.
For any additional exchanges within the 30-day window, you will be responsible for the cost of both return and outbound shipping.

Outside of the United States (Rest of World)
Returns
We offer full refunds on the purchase value of your eyewear. However, return shipping costs — including any applicable duties, taxes, and carrier fees — are the responsibility of the customer.
Important notice regarding recent US import regulations: As of August 2025, the United States has suspended duty-free treatment for international shipments valued under $800. This means your return shipment to Ra Optics may be subject to import duties upon arrival in the US. These duties are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the sender. We recommend checking with your local postal service first. If they do not service US-bound shipments, express couriers such as FedEx or DHL are available as an alternative. Please confirm availability with your carrier before shipping.
Once shipped, please send us a photo of your shipping receipt as proof of shipment. Your refund will be authorized upon receipt of that confirmation.
Please note: this policy is subject to change at our discretion, and we may require the return shipment to be received before a full refund is issued.
Exchanges
You are entitled to two (2) exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order. We will send you a replacement product of equal value; however, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping of your original item, as well as a fee covering outbound shipping, duties, and taxes for the replacement. This fee will be confirmed at the time of your exchange request.
If you choose a product of lesser value, the difference will offset your exchange costs, and any remaining credit will be refunded to you. If you choose a product of greater value, you will be charged the difference in price.

European Union — 14-Day Right of Return
In accordance with EU consumer protection law, customers whose orders are shipped to an EU member state have the right to cancel or return their order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason and without justification.
Please note: this right does not apply if the item has been used or worn, is missing its original tags, or is not in its original packaging.
That said, our standard 30-day return and exchange policy supersedes the EU minimum and remains available to all EU customers, subject to the terms outlined in the Rest of World section below.
Important notice for EU customers: The European Commission is expected to introduce a customs duty of approximately €3 per item on e-commerce parcels valued below €150, starting July 1, 2026. Please note that details are subject to change. We recommend consulting your local carrier for the most up-to-date information before initiating a return.
Refunds for EU orders will be processed once the original product is received and inspected. You will be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that EU refunds may take up to 10 business days due to international banking processing times, compared to 7 business days for domestic orders. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to post the credit

Lumios — Specialty Wellness Lighting
Lumios is a specialized indoor wellness lighting product — not a general-purpose bulb. Because of the nature of this product and its pricing structure, the return and exchange terms below differ slightly from our eyewear policy.

Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your Lumios purchase within 14 days of delivery, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase value.
For your convenience, a prepaid return label will be provided. Please note that the cost of the label will be covered by a return handling fee, which will be deducted from your refund. Once received and inspected by our team, your refund will be issued within 7 days.
Manufacturing defects are covered separately under our product warranty. If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect beyond the 14-day return window, please contact our support team, and we will assess the situation accordingly.
Exchanges
You are entitled to one (1) exchange within 14 days of receiving your order. Return shipping of the original item is the responsibility of the customer. Once received and inspected, we will ship the replacement at no additional charge.
